Such a Weird World

A thousand words go unheard sometimes
While a single syllable creates a sensation.
A million screams are not listened
while a single tear can melt hearts of millions.
A thousand talks may be useless
while a simple silence can make hearts meet.
Such a strange world it is
here a million efforts can't do good
but a single person can change generations.

Mr. Modi’s Bulldozer

DISCLAIMER : THIS PIECE IS MEANT TO BE CRITICAL OF MR. NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI. PLEASE DON'T GET AN IMPRESSION THAT I AM PRAISING HIM.

Mr. Narendra Modi seems to be unstoppable today. His bulldozer is moving fast removing all the hurdles coming between him and the Prime Minister’s kursi. This ‘Sher-e-Hind’ has crushed most of his opponents, i.e. the media in the pay of ‘Khangress’, the ‘Sickulars’ and other detractors. The remaining opponents are meek and powerless in front of this ‘Colossus of Gujarat’. He has gained the confidence of the middle class and the so called ‘jagrit Hindu’. Also he has got a legion to fight for him on Facebook, Twitter and all other theaters of the battle-field of Internet. This legion is not only large, but also well equipped with all forms of weaponry and armaments. The successes of this legion are immense and this legion has already been bestowed with an uncountable number of battle stars. Overall this army has served its master well and very soon this master might depose the old and ailing ‘Vizier-e-azam of Hindustan’ (who is in fact a puppet, remote-controlled by the ‘Syed Brothers’ like Sonia Gandhi) and establish his ‘reign of development’ while being the proud upholder of the ‘Takht-e-dilli’.

Mr. Modi’s rise is some sort of miracle. A man coming from a humble background becomes the Chief Minister of a large state in the ‘dynasty-prone’ land of India, where it is hard to leave a mark if one doesn’t belong to a khaandan. His early days as Chief Minister are marked by riots, encounters and some kind of political cleansing. He is uniformly booed at and is considered as a pariah by most of media and the people. But suddenly he gains momentum and is very quick in transforming his marred image of a hardline ‘Hindutva-vaadi neta’ into a ‘Vikas-purush’. Yet he is intelligent enough to keep the best parts of his earlier Hindutva-vaadi personaliy with himself. He uses all forms of platforms, the most prominent being the internet to project himself as the very face of development. PR Agencies sell his name with fervor and the aspiring ‘jagrit Hindu’ and the ‘Middle class’ (both of which consider themselves to be the most marginalized groups in India) are fast to buy him. Passionate supporters invent names like ‘NaMo’ and ‘Rambo’ for him. These names are not only catchy but also reflect Mr. Modi’s political agendas; NaMo incorporates the initials of his name as well it is a Sanskrit word for bowing down to the guru and RAMbo combines the strength of Rambo and the Hindutva agenda. He covers himself so nicely that his real self is removed from the public eye and what remain are an enigma and a myth.
Mr. Modi’s rise can be very well said as the work of some ‘master of deception’. This is so because he is more of a well-projected 3-D holographic image than a solid figure backed with matter and substance. But still, equally responsible for his growth is the very system that is in power. The present union government is inefficient and week. Mr. Modi projects himself as a complete contrast to the reigning regime. He has proposed himself as a strongman, an engine with efficiency valued 1 and a panacea to all problems and troubles. This is one reason why disappointed people are quickly attracted towards the enigmatic figurine of Mr. Narendra Damodardas Modi.
There is an old English saying: There’s many a slips twixt the cup and the lips. But perhaps Mr. Modi has undermined the veracity of this statement. If nothing unprovoked happens, it is sure that Mr. Modi’s bulldozer will reach Delhi. Now only God can stop the rumbling of Mr. Modi’s bulldozer.

The country has been gripped with some kind of Modimania (While reading through the comments on any post on Modi, it might even seem that Modimania has surpassed Beatle mania). Time seems to be the biggest friend of Modi. That is why when Mr. Modi’s bulldozer arrives at the ‘sinhaasan’ of the ‘Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic, Republic of India’ (which might not remain either secular or socialist), it would be warmly welcomed by the people. But most probably, time will prove to be Mr. Modi’s biggest enemy too. Today the country is swallowed by the storm of Modi. People are not much interested in truth and substance behind the person. What matters is the image that appears. Today it seems impossible to display the actuality of the most-popular phenomena in India. But tomorrow, when time will pass, varnish and shine will fade. People will be able to see the thing as it is and would then realize the havoc and destruction caused by this rumbling bulldozer.

  1. I think you need to balanced when praising somebody a lot. The portrayal of Gujarat is nothing more than work of the American PR agency as reported in Times of India and more, the things are half truth. Accept or deny, he is responsible for killing many innocents. All muslims are not terrorist and nobody has right to kill 100 for mistakes of 10

    1. Perhaps you have misread the article. I have not praised Mr. Modi but have been rather critical of him. I have specifically written that he looks like a work of 'a master of deception' and that 'his well projected 3-D holographic image falls short of facts.

If I have written words like 'Sher-e-hind' or 'colossus of Gujarat' or 'Khangress' or 'Sickular' I have used them in a rather satirical tone.

So I would request you to read the whole thing once more (especially the last paragraph), so that you can comprehend the actual meaning of the article.
